Aims and Objectives of the Training Section

The Training Section is dedicated to planning, organizing, and executing structured training programmes to enhance the skills and knowledge of stakeholders in agriculture and allied sectors. Its specific aims and objectives are:

1. Design and Implementation of Training Programmes: To plan, develop, and conduct need-based and demand-driven training programmes for farmers, rural youth, and extension personnel.

2. Training Needs Assessment:To identify training requirements through field feedback, surveys, and interaction with stakeholders to ensure relevance and effectiveness.

3. Development of Training Modules and Materials: To prepare standardized training curricula, manuals, and audio-visual aids for effective knowledge transfer.

4. Skill-Oriented and Hands-on Training: To emphasize practical, field-based, and skill-oriented training for better learning and adoption of technologies.

5. Capacity Building of Extension Personnel: To organize orientation programmes, refresher courses, and specialized trainings for extension staff to improve service delivery.

6. Coordination of Training Activities: To coordinate with KVKs, research stations, line departments, and other institutions for efficient organization of training programmes.

7. Use of Modern Training Methods: To adopt innovative approaches such as ICT tools, online platforms, demonstrations, and exposure visits for effective training delivery.

8. Documentation and Reporting: To maintain records of training programmes, prepare reports, and document outcomes and success stories.

9. Monitoring and Evaluation of Trainings: To assess the effectiveness, feedback, and impact of training programmes for continuous improvement.

10. Promotion of Inclusive Training: To ensure participation of women, youth, and marginalized groups in training programmes.
