Under Graduate Degree Programme

Admission to various undergraduate degree programmes is made on the basis of merit drawn at Common Entrance Test conducted for each programme by the Board of Professional Entrance Examination, Government of Jammu & Kashmir. 50% of the seats are filled from open merit category and remaining 50% from various categories as defined in SRO-126  of Jammu & Kashmir Government.

In addition to this, 15% seats over and above the intake capacity are filled through Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi / Veterinary Council of India who are selected under various categories  after appearing in Common Entrance Test conducted at All India level.

Besides inservice nominees of Development Departments of J&K Government are admitted to the programme. This quota is also over and above the intake capacity.
